This English translation is provided for convenience. The Polish version is the binding version of these terms.
1. General provisions
- These terms govern participation in the "Free website for non-governmental organisations" promotion, referred to below as the Programme.
- The organiser is 234.studio, based in Jabłonka, Poland and led by Rafał Krzysztofiak, referred to below as the Organiser.
- The Programme was open only to foundations, associations and other non-profit organisations registered and based in Poland.
- Its purpose was to support the non-profit sector by designing and building a professional website for at least one selected organisation at no charge.
- Participation was voluntary and free.
2. What the Programme covered
- The Organiser agreed to design, build and launch a website for the selected organisation without charging for that work.
- The free service included visual design, implementation, deployment and 24 months of maintenance from launch. During that period, hosting, the domain and technical care were also covered.
- The exact functionality was agreed directly with the selected organisation, taking its needs and the Organiser's technical capacity into account.
- Continued maintenance after the free 24-month period requires a separate agreement.
- The Organiser may include a discreet 234.studio credit in the footer after discussing it with the selected organisation.
3. Eligibility
- Applicants had to be a foundation, association or other non-profit entity registered in the Polish National Court Register or another appropriate register.
- The entity had to carry out non-commercial, social or charitable activity and accept these terms.
- For-profit businesses and public bodies, including local government and budgetary units, were excluded.
- Each organisation could submit one application in the first intake.
4. Applications
- Applications for the first intake were accepted only through the form on the Programme page.
- The form requested the applicant's relationship to the organisation, organisation name and type, contact person, email, an optional phone number and current website, a description of the organisation's mission and activity, and any additional project notes.
- A submission became valid after acceptance of the privacy policy, consent to data processing for the Programme and use of the submit button.
- An authorised representative or an outside person could nominate an organisation. The Organiser could verify an outside nomination with the organisation's governing body.
- The Organiser could ask for missing details or clarification.
5. First intake dates
- These terms apply to the first edition of the Programme.
- Applications were accepted until the end of 31 March 2026.
- The first intake is now closed. Applications received after the deadline were not considered.
6. Selection
- The Organiser could select at least one eligible organisation from the applications received.
- The final decision belonged to the Organiser and did not require a written justification.
- Selection could consider the organisation's field of work, reach, social impact, need for a professional website and other factors relevant to a workable project.
- Selected organisations were to be notified by email no later than 30 April 2026.
- Unselected applicants acquired no claim to a website or other compensation.
- The Organiser could choose no applicant if none met the formal or substantive requirements.
7. Acceptance and delivery
- Work could begin only after the selected organisation gave written consent to the website build, 24 months of free maintenance and the agreed working terms.
- The response period stated in the selection notice could not be shorter than seven working days.
- Failure to accept on time counted as withdrawal. The Organiser could then select another applicant.
- Scope, schedule and technical requirements were agreed directly and could be recorded in a separate agreement.
- The organisation had to provide content, materials, decisions and information needed to complete the website on time.
8. Copyright and portfolio use
- On launch, the selected organisation received the economic rights needed to operate and maintain the website, on the basis set out in a separate agreement.
- The Organiser may show the finished work in its portfolio and marketing unless the organisation raises a justified objection.
9. Personal data
- 234.studio is the controller of personal data processed for the Programme.
- Applicant data was used only to run the Programme and contact participants, under Article 6(1)(b) and (f) of the GDPR where applicable.
- Data would not be shared without a lawful basis. Data subjects may request access, correction, erasure or restriction and may complain to the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office.
- Providing the information was voluntary but necessary to take part.
- Further details are available in the Privacy Policy.
10. Final provisions
- These terms are the sole rules of the Programme and were published on the 234.studio website.
- The Organiser could amend the terms during the intake, provided that earlier submissions were not disadvantaged by a later change.
- The Organiser could extend, suspend or close the Programme early for a justified reason and announce that decision online.
- Polish law, including the Polish Civil Code, applies to matters not covered here.
- The terms took effect on publication. Questions can be sent through the contact form.
Applications for the first edition are closed.
