Kajaki Omulew - a website for kayaking trips on the Omulew

Kajaki Omulew hires out kayaks in Olszewka and organises trips along the Omulew river. Seasonal customers arrive with practical questions about route choice, journey time, price, transport and availability. The website answers each one quickly, pairing the calm of the river with a direct route to booking.

About the project

  • Kayaking on the Omulew among meadows, forests and gentle bends
  • Three routes from 13 to 19.6 km for different schedules and experience levels
  • Two-person kayaks with paddles and buoyancy aids
  • Child seats that let families paddle as a group of three
  • Transport for participants and kayaks to the start, with collection at the finish

The challenge

Comparing routes without confusion

Three sections of the Omulew cover different distances and journey times. Visitors needed a quick comparison that replaced the usual hunt through a long description.

Quick booking during the season

The hire company operates seasonally and many decisions happen on a phone. The number, CTA and form had to be immediately visible on desktop and mobile.

Trust and safety information

Families and groups ask about buoyancy aids, children, transport and logistics. The site spells out what the price includes and how the day is organised.

What we did

1

A structure built around the decision

The page order follows the customer's questions about the base, route options, paddling time, kayak price and date booking.

2

A river-led hero section

The opening screen shows a quiet paddle against the forest, the logo and the line "Kajaki Omulew - paddling to the rhythm of the river". The character is clear at once.

3

Separate routes for comparison and pricing

A route page lists distance and paddling time for visitors weighing their options. Those ready to decide get a simple price of PLN 80 per kayak.

4

Contact and booking

The contact page combines a phone number, base address, seasonal hours and a form for the date, party size and preferred route.

5

Performance and local SEO

Quick loading and indexable content support searches for kayaking trips on the Omulew. The same structure works for visitors arriving through maps and social media.

Mobile UX

These figures describe this specific project. Results for another business will depend on its starting point, market and available data.

The route is the central decision

Kayak customers start with the route and ask whether the group can manage it. Distance, journey time, start, finish and contact details form the main path through the service.

Summary

Kajaki Omulew received a website that sells the ease of a well-run trip. Visitors take in the river, compare routes, check the price and included equipment, then call or send an enquiry. During the season, the site becomes the booking desk.

How many customers is your old website costing you?

A free consultation and a practical plan within 24 hours. We take on no more than 3 projects at once, so your work gets our full attention.

Common questions

Does a kayak hire website need a separate routes page?
Yes, when several sections are available. Customers compare distance, journey time, start and finish points, so a dedicated route page speeds up booking and reduces repeated questions.
Which details should appear immediately?
Visitors need the base location, phone number, booking CTA, routes, price, transport details and included equipment. During the season, many check all of this on a phone.
Can this type of website improve local SEO?
Yes. Phrases such as Omulew kayaks, Omulew kayaking trips and kayak hire Olszewka need clear local copy, a map, accurate contact information and detailed routes.
Can you add a date booking form?
Yes. The form can collect the date, party size, route, phone number and extra notes. Larger groups can also request an individual quote.
How long does a seasonal business website take?
A typical tourism site takes several weeks, depending on the available materials, number of pages, galleries and forms. It should launch before search and social traffic begin to rise for the season.
