Echo Podhala - an audio drama and workshop platform for Rabcio Puppet Theatre

Echo Podhala is a project by Rabcio Puppet Theatre in Rabka-Zdrój. The website presents audio dramas inspired by Podhale tales, podcasts about folk culture in theatre and arts education workshops. We developed a site that works at once as a stage, an archive and an invitation to take part.

The challenge

Connecting sound, theatre and education

This was far from a standard information website. It needed to guide people through audio dramas, podcasts, workshops and the team without becoming confusing.

Building a bold visual language

Folk forms, intense colours and large unconventional compositions shape the design. The frontend had to retain that energy on desktop and mobile.

Embedding external media

The site draws video and audio from YouTube. We needed an attractive presentation that kept the page legible and quick.

What we did

1

Project structure

We organised the site around three formats: audio drama, podcasts and workshops. Each has a distinct path, while the complete experience reads as one story about Podhale culture.

2

Implementing the Cobance Studio design

Cobance Studio created the visual direction. We translated its oversized shapes, custom buttons, folk palette and distinctive type into a responsive frontend.

3

Audio drama and podcast sections

Reusable modules present the latest releases, descriptions, duration, dates and YouTube links. Visitors can move straight from an introduction to listening or watching.

4

Workshops and project team

Five workshop themes sit alongside profiles of the people behind the project. Expandable descriptions keep the longer material easy to browse.

5

SSR, SEO and publication

Angular Server-Side Rendering provides indexable HTML. Metadata, Open Graph and canonical URLs support cultural promotion in Google and on social media.

A digital stage for Podhale traditions

Echo Podhala brings local stories into audio, video and workshops. The frontend stays light to use while carrying the project's theatrical, archival and distinctly regional energy.

Summary

Echo Podhala now has one coherent home for the rich Rabcio Puppet Theatre project. Audio dramas, podcasts, workshops, team profiles and contact details sit within a visual language that connects Podhale traditions with contemporary cultural communication.

Common questions

Do you build websites for cultural institutions?
Yes. We build sites for theatres, associations, educational projects and cultural events. One clear structure can cover the project story, media, schedule, team and contact details.
Can a website include podcasts and audio dramas?
Yes. We can embed YouTube, Spotify or other platforms, or build a dedicated audio player. The choice depends on budget, copyright and the publishing process.
Does Angular SSR make sense for a cultural project?
Yes, especially when the site needs strong Google indexation and reliable social sharing. SSR produces ready HTML, making titles, descriptions and content sections accessible to search engines.
Can you implement a visual design created by another studio?
Yes. Echo Podhala was based on work by Cobance Studio. We can join as the development team and implement an approved design without taking over the creative process.
How long does a cultural project website take?
Most take 4-8 weeks, depending on the number of sections, media and integrations. A finished visual design shortens the schedule because work centres on development, testing and publication.
