Duda Athletics - a website for a strength club in Nowy Targ

Duda Athletics is a strength and powerlifting club in Nowy Targ, a mountain town where the athletes are no strangers to hard sessions. We built its online presence from the ground up. Anyone searching for serious strength training in Podhale should find this club first.

About the project

  • Strength and powerlifting sessions led by a coach
  • Athletes competing at national and international events
  • Personal and group training for every level
  • Cooperation with the IPF and PTF federations
  • A genuine mountain club with an active sporting community

The challenge

No website at all

The club existed online only through social media, while local gyms were already visible in Google. A new domain had to catch up quickly without any search history.

Standing apart from an ordinary gym

Duda Athletics is a competition club, not a fitness studio. Heavy training, results and the team culture had to shape both the design and the copy, far removed from bright stock photos and monthly membership offers.

Local SEO from zero

The domain had no history. Local phrases, SportsClub structured data and Google Business work gave SEO a useful foundation from the first day.

What we did

1

Audience and content strategy

We started with the people the club wanted to reach. Competitive athletes looking for a training group have different goals from casual gym users. The copy and UX focus on coaching expertise and a direct invitation to get in touch.

2

Design with athletic weight

A dark palette, uncompromising athlete photography and sharp typography give the site a serious tone. Pastels and generic smiling gym models had no place here.

3

Angular and SSR development

The Angular website uses Server-Side Rendering for quick loading and complete Google indexation. Smooth motion and a Lighthouse score above 95 carry through to mobile, where athletes often browse between sets.

4

SEO and Google Business

We targeted local searches such as powerlifting Nowy Targ and strength club Podhale. SportsClub structured data and accurate sport categories in Google Business support the location signals.

5

Results and coach profiles

Competition results and detailed coach profiles provide concrete proof of the club's standards. Prospective members see the level of training before they make contact.

These figures describe this specific project. Results for another business will depend on its starting point, market and available data.

Mobile-first for a sporting audience

Athletes and prospective members usually check details on a phone before training, on the way to the gym or between sets. Duda Athletics started with the mobile view, including quick loading on LTE, a strong information hierarchy and one prominent contact button on every page.

Summary

Duda Athletics received a website with the ambition and grit of the club itself. Dark visuals, strong photography, coach and results sections, quick loading and local SEO help new athletes find it through Google.

How many customers is your old website costing you?
Let us find out.

A free consultation and a practical plan within 24 hours. We take on no more than 3 projects at once, so your work gets our full attention.

Common questions

How much does a sports club website cost?
Websites start at PLN 2,000 net. The final cost depends on galleries, language versions and event calendar integrations. We tailor the scope to the club.
Can a website help recruit new members?
Yes, when it is built around local SEO. People searching for training in a particular town arrive through Google. A clear club story, results and contact section can turn those visits into enquiries.
How long does a website take to build?
A typical sports club website takes 3-5 weeks from project start. Ready photography and copy can shorten the schedule. The work includes visual design, development and mobile testing.
Can I add competition results and news myself?
Yes. We connect a simple CMS where you can publish results, events and news without asking the agency to make every update.
Will the website work on mobile phones?
Mobile is the first priority. Athletes check information before training, while travelling and between sets, so design starts with the small screen. SSR keeps loading quick on a weaker connection.
