Gitara krok po kroku - a website and ebook store

We built a website and ebook store for Tomasz Modranka, founder of Akademia Gitary in Nowy Targ, Poland. Visitors can start with a free ebook. For further study, they can choose Volume I or its Premium edition, which includes access to a Discord group and help from the author. Tomasz wrote the teaching materials. Our work covers how those materials are presented and the steps a reader takes to place an order.

About the project

  • A website for Tomasz Modranka's method of learning to read music on guitar
  • A free ebook with 10 short lessons and a newsletter signup form
  • Two editions of Volume I, with Discord group access in Premium
  • A separate guide to buying a first guitar
  • Product pages and an order form with PayU payments

The challenge

Trying the first lesson

Beginners want to know whether they can follow the exercises. The free ebook lets them try the method, so the button leading to it needs to be visible as soon as they open the site.

Choosing an edition

Volume I and Premium have similar covers. The product descriptions need to explain that the extra cost covers access to the Discord group and support from Tomasz.

Ordering a digital book

The ebook arrives by email. At checkout, readers need to see the price and selected edition, with a clear explanation of where the download link will be sent after payment.

What we did

1

The teacher and the subject on the first screen

A large headline introduces reading music on guitar, next to a photograph of Tomasz playing, so visitors can see both the subject and the person who teaches it. Two buttons sit below the introduction. The colored one leads to the free ebook, while the second opens an order for Volume I Premium.

2

White space and a terracotta accent

The design uses a white background and black type. Warm orange marks the buttons, while thin vertical lines around the portrait echo guitar strings and leave plenty of space around the photograph. Book covers appear further down. They give readers a visual reference when browsing the catalog on a phone.

3

A dedicated section for the free ebook

Readers sign up on the homepage. The section describes the 10 short lessons, asks for an email address and includes consent for the ebook and newsletter, alongside links to the terms and privacy policy. Buttons near the top and bottom lead here. Someone still getting to know the teaching method can find a sample alongside the paid books.

4

From the product page to checkout

Each paid book has its own page. Volume I Premium explains the package contents, PDF format and private group access, then takes the reader to an order form with that edition already selected. Checkout shows the total price and email delivery details. PayU handles the payment.

5

Answers before placing an order

Below the catalog, the site introduces the stages of learning. Reviews from Akademia Gitary students sit alongside an FAQ where Tomasz answers questions about suitable guitars, practicing alone and printing the ebook for personal use. Readers can then continue to the free material. If they need to ask Tomasz another question, contact details and social profiles are available in the navigation.

What does Premium include?

Both editions contain the same 96-page textbook. Premium adds a Discord group where learners can ask Tomasz questions and share their progress with other people working through the exercises. We put that distinction in the edition name. The product page also lists the package contents.

Summary

At gitarakrokpokroku.pl, someone looking for guitar lessons can meet Tomasz, learn about his method and choose a book that suits the stage they are starting from. There is also a guide to buying a first guitar. Visit the store to explore the books.

Common questions

What did 234.studio build for Gitara krok po kroku?
We built a website presenting Tomasz Modranka's teaching method and a store for his ebooks. The project includes a homepage with a free ebook signup form, a catalog, individual product pages and checkout with PayU. Tomasz is the author of the teaching materials.
How does the free ebook fit alongside the paid textbook?
The free book has its own homepage section. Readers can subscribe to the newsletter to receive 10 short lessons, then find the full Volume I in the catalog or through the button on the first screen. They can also go straight to checkout.
What is the difference between Volume I and Premium?
Premium adds access to a private Discord group. Both editions include the same 96-page textbook, while the group lets learners ask the author questions and talk to other students. The product page explains what is included.
How do ordering and ebook delivery work?
The buy button opens an order form with the selected book and price summary, where buyers enter their details and the email address for the download link. PayU handles the payment. According to the store's delivery information, the link is emailed after the order has been paid for.
Can you build a similar store for another teacher?
Yes. For a project like this, we establish which materials will be sold, how buyers will access them and whether the author wants to offer a free sample. Editions that include teacher support get their own description so buyers can check the contents before paying.
